During an April 18 meeting, the Azle City Council appointed Deborah Summarell as a board member to the Library, Parks, and Special Events Boards. Summarell has been an Azle resident since 2006 and is a retired nurse from Fort Worth Baylor and Harris. She has nine grandchildren.
