Announcements in one paper up to 100 words with one photo are free to local residents; $0.40 per word over 100 words for either the Azle News or Springtown Epigraph. Place your announcement in both papers for only $0.80 per word over the first 100. Bring form in to the Azle News office at 321 W. Main Street in Azle or the Springtown-Epigraph office at 109 E. Obituaries are published in either the Azle News or the Springtown Epigraph with a photograph and the first 100 words free if the deceased or family members are from the area. After the first 100 words cost is 40 cents per word for one paper or .80 cents per word for both papers. Obituaries and photos can be emailed to info@azlenews.net. Please indicate which newspaper you wish to place the obituary in.

Letters to the editor are welcomed, but are printed on a space-available basis and may be edited for space or style requirements. Letters must be signed and include an address and the writer’s phone number. Anonymous letters will not be published. Letters should be brief (300 words or less), typewritten or emailed. Letters endorsing political candidates, third-party letters, and letters that have appeared in other newspapers will not be published. Writers are limited to two letters monthly. The deadline for letters to the editor is 5 p.m.
