She enjoyed quilting, antiquing and collecting all things related to chickens and folk art. Ruth’s Lord’s Acre quilts were legendary for church fundraising; her peach cobblers were loved by all. Ruth loved the Lord and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and giving friend who will be greatly missed.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Don, and parents, Clifford and Marie Brister.

Survivors are her children Gordon and wife, Sheri Autry (Standish, Maine), Terry and wife, Vickie Autry (Denver, Colorado), and Susan Autry (Dallas, Texas); grandchildren Adam, Anna Marie, Garrett, Shane, C.J., and Ben Autry; and a loving extended family and church family.
