Marilyn Amelia Daniels

Marilyn Amelia Daniels, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 5, 2020. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother.

Marilyn was born on Sept. 23, 1932 in Pipestone, Minnesota to John and Bonita Ehlers. In 1952 she married Joe Daniels in Seattle, Washington, in 1965 they relocated to Fort Worth, Texas.

Marilyn, with her playful spirit, raised her eight children with the values of God first, love for one another, dream big until you achieve your goal, and always be the winner of canasta. She loved reading her bible, listening to gospel music, and sending her family encouraging cards and letters. Having her family all in one place at the same time and playing cards until the crack of dawn gave her more joy than anyone could ever imagine.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Joe, and two children, Karen and Tracy.

She is survived by her sisters Delores Meek and Valerie Ehlers; her children Gary (Gail) Daniels, Teresa (Wayland) Davis, Joe Daniels, Pamela (Tony) Sinclair, Timothy (Suzanne) Daniels, Kristina (Dave) Martinez, Kelly Daniels, and Kimberly (Jay) Burd. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two more on the way. Also numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

We will miss her smile, love, and most of all her bright blue eyes that were always twinkling. The legacy Mom leaves behind lives on in all she touched.
