“Bunna” was a huge sports fan. She had the best sense of direction, no map ever needed for her! She could find any ballfield in Texas to watch a Castleberry Lions or Lake Worth Bullfrogs ball game, and of course, she loved cheering for the Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. The last sports event she was following was her great-grandson, Dustin Mathis, on Friday and Saturday night playing basketball at Dallas University.

Colleen worked in the banking industry for 46 years, retiring from Bank of America.

Her family wishes to send a special “thank you” to her two best friends, Beth Lorentz and Shirley Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Edith Springfield; by her late husband, Grady Sessions, and a grandson, Greg Mathis.

She is survived by her children, Greg Sessions and wife, Zana, Suzanne Abbott and husband, Jr., Traci Webster and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Jeff Mathis, Ryon Morris and wife, Destiny, Justin Abbott and wife, Sereniti, Chrystal Sessions, and Ben Sessions; great-grandchildren, Alexis Dustin, Jared, Gavin, Mollie, Juddson, and Blakelyn; brother, Kenneth Springfield and wife, Patsy; and sister, Trula Caudill.
