Charlotte Karon Harris

Charlotte Karon Harris left this life to be with her Heavenly Father on October 4, 2021, after battling cancer.

Charlotte was born on February 19, 1948, to Walter B. and Sarah Ruth Corley in Fort Worth, Texas. Charlotte attended and graduated from Lake Worth ISD in 1966 where she was a cheerleader, band member and outstanding athlete. Charlotte met the love of her life, David Harris and they married in 1967. She went on to receive her realtors license, a nursing degree and retired from Lockheed Martin. She enjoyed tournament bass fishing with her husband, her many dogs and cats, helping with their cattle, flowers, and her horses, and horseback riding., but most of all spending time with her family.

Charlotte loved the Lord and attended Walnut Creek Baptist Church. She was quick to laugh and willing to help anyone in need. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, dedicated daughter, and a wonderful sister.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father Walter B. Corley.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years David; sons, Stephen and his wife Shawna; Bryan and his wife Kim; mother Sarah Ruth Corley, sister Glenda and husband Jimmy; brother in law Vernon Harris and wife Linda; nephews: Vernon Harris, Jr., and wife Debra, Glen and wife Becky; Jeff and wife Sara; niece, Kari and husband Trey; grandchildren Brandon and wife Lauren, Bryce, Lexi, Kenzi and husband Tyler and numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charlotte’s life was a blessing to all who knew her, her memory a treasure, she was loved beyond words and will be forever missed.
